Uses value ranges to specify a shipping charge. However it only charges shipping on products that have weight. This allows you to have downloadable and shipping products on the same site.
Installation:
Purchase the free method below.
You will receive an email telling you how to download the file.
Extract the zip file to the root of your local site. The zip has the folder structure so the files should end up having the path: [yoursite]/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/shipping/
Go into the config for your VM shop.
Select the Shipping Tab
Put a checkbox in the ShipvalueOnWeight method
Save config
Go into the Store->Shipping Module List
Select Configure under the ShipvalueOnWeight method
Setup your value rates as usual - NOTE: Rate is for LESS THAN...read the tip for help
Save the config

Mathieu Légaré (Friday, 15 August 2008) Rating: Product idea is good but this module not work perfectly, the weight is not taked, is the total price only, I try to fix it for working with my VM for shipping. Please fix it to the next version for enabled the shop the most quickly possible.
